Three Friends Cottage
We are a family of 9, so we used every bit of the available space. The layout is lovely and proximity to the beach and pool pavilion is outstanding. The beach at Coast Cottages is one of the best we've ever visited. Add a beautiful home in which to gather family, and you have a perfect week. Thanks to Patrick for his attention to detail which makes each visit seamless.

Three Friends Cottage Visit
My family and I enjoy our visit to Three Friends Cottage in St. Simons. The cottage is lovely and beautifully decorated. The location is great and we enjoyed walking on the beach. The property manager met us at
check-in just to make sure that we were able to access the cottage. He even turned on the heat for us as it
was a little cool when we arrived. We definitely recommend a visit to Three Friends Cottage.

Perfect for our family stay!
Three Friends was ideal for our family stay at the beach. We had a wonderful and private 3rd floor suite for ourselves. Our daughter, husband and 3 small children had an ideal two rooms at the end of the first floor hall. Our adult son had a more private room and bath near the entrance on the first floor. The middle floor provided an ideal buffer zone, eating and entertainment area. The porch was shaded for the late afternoon happy hour with a great view of the pool and ocean.
The house had plenty of extra touches to enhance our stay. The kitchen was huge and outfitted with every cooking tool needed for a beach stay. Loved the gas stove with 6 burners. Loved having large pots with strainers for those low country boils and large flat pans for griddle cakes in the mornings. Plenty of dishes and glasses, etc. TV's for everyone. We all really like the tiled "outside" shower ROOM for getting cleaned up from the beach - two types of showers and a tiled bench to sit, etc. And the open shower and jacuzzi on the 3rd floor were a much enjoyed luxury!
The unit was very close to the pool, pavilion and beach access. We had two 7 year olds and a 3 year old with us. They, of course, love a pool environment when the beach gets a little hot, buggy and sandy. We could go back and forth and back and forth without the long trek with gear! -unit, pool and beach were perfectly integrated. The pool was divided into two pools areas so children could play without disturbing adults. The open pavilion was cool and shady even in the middle of the day and provided a good mid-point for folks in the pool and folks at the beach to touch base. I think this would be very valuable if staying in a unit at the end of the street. The pools, sunning areas, bathrooms were impeccable.
The beach was just wonderful - wide expanses to walk and walk and walk, diversity at high and low tides, large tidal pools for the wee ones. Just a great scene that was very clean and fun to enjoy! There were plenty of things to do in the classic beach sense in the Village. Biking to the Village or riding in the golf cart were enjoyed every day and were good for "cabin fever." Kids loved the break of spending the day at Neptune Park in the Village and the lighthouse, coast guard station museum, Fort Frederica, Christs Church all provided a good history lesson and day trips for the older set. We liked that there was no theme park atmosphere - just human scale entertainment, shady streets, parks and amenities.

Time with the family!
We stayed at Three Friends Cottage in July 2013 and it was wonderful! The place was clean and well supplied. We had 10 in our group including 4 grandchildren ages 3 - 10. The pool was approximately 150 feet from the front door and the beach about 500 feet. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone! The grand kids loved the shower in the master bedroom and we ran them through it like a car wash. Everyone wants to go back next year. We loved sitting out on the porch for morning coffee and in the evening. Thanks so much Patrick for making our stay so wonderful!

Just returned from our stay at Three Friends Cottage. What a wonderful location, and beautiful cottage. The 3rd floor master suite is a treat, and the shower is heavenly. Everyone in the family had to have a chance to try it out. The 2nd floor living area was great with the two separate sitting areas, one for watching t.v. and one for conversation. The village has many great seafood restaurants. The crab soup and pumpkin bread at Barbara Jeans is a must. Also, the St. Simons Community Church was a great Sunday morning worship treat.

We loved this house! It was beautiful, and everything we needed was available..........plenty of beach towels, bath towels, and linens. We used the grill numerous times. We really appreciated that the insides of drawers and cabinets were labeled........we could easily find everything we needed. The furniture was so comfortable, and the layout was perfect for the three couples and children traveling with us. We had space to be together and space for privacy! The view was gorgeous, and the master bedroom was unbelieveable.........the bed was more comfortable than ours at home, and the shower had a beautiful view of the ocean. I plan to stay here again!!!! Jessica and Melinda at the pool were so friendly.......we felt so at home during our stay. Patrick and Scott Anderson were wonderful.....very professional and most helpful! We will try to stay at Three Friends next year!

Beautiful home, great location!
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The decor is beautiful yet also very comfortable. The close proximity to the beach and pool was perfect for us because we have several small children. Patrick and his staff did an excellent job in keeping us informed and taking good care of us during our stay. I highly recommend this beach house!

Three Friends Cottage was absolutely lovely. It was comfortable, had plenty of room for our family, and was convenient to the beach. We were in St. Simon's to attend a wedding but were able to make a family vacation out of it. Although our visit was in October, we still enjoyed the beach and the pool pavilion. I would definitely recommend this destination and Three Friends Cottage.

Three Friends Cottage
Our visit to Three Friends Cottage was so relaxing. We had family to visit during the week and they were very comfortable. Everyone had plenty of space for privacy and the three sitting areas were great when we wanted to be together. We found ourselves gravitating to the lower living area. It has a great entertainment system and it is very inviting. The entire home is beautiful.
We can recommend the bird watching at the end of the island (low tide), north of Coast Cottages and a day in the tangles of driftwood at Jekyll. They are near the fishing pier and a world away with just a brief drive. We also enjoyed the lighthouse tour on this trip. The tower was surprisingly cool on a day the temperature was in the nineties. My husband's mom wasn't quite sure she wanted to go all the way to the top but the scattered windows revealed a new view at each landing. She made it all the way. She is in her late seventies. It is certainly worth the effort and much of the history of St.Simons is wrapped around this site. It is good idea to visit here before or after a trip to the Old Church cemetery. A book rich in island stories would be a great way to end that day. Oh yes, the sailboats reflecting in the second story mirror are a reminder that the beach just a few steps away. Three Friends is in a wonderful location for early morning and late night walks. It is lovely in every way.

Three Friends Cottage
I have stayed at this cottage twice now and the second visit was even better than the first. The new decor is lovely and the cottage is very well maintained. I love the short walk to the pool and beach, and the elevator saves my knees and back. I feel safe and comfort while visiting. The master suite is elegant, private and so relaxing, just the place I want to be while on vacation. There are plenty of terrific restaurants and things to do on the island and the shopping is plentiful. I am happy to return to this location, year after year.
